Get your feet out on the street with Britannia Brewing Company!!!

Us blogger and social media types spend a lot of time behind screens. It’s not our fault. Keeping on top of this fast-paced industry and promoting the many dodges, ducks, dips, dives, and dodges takes a lot of work. Sometimes all the swiping, commenting, and double-tapping can get downright tedious. I thought the team could use a well-needed break and get some exercise to clear their mind.  So everyone grabbed a can of the Boardwalk Troispical Pale Ale from the amazing little Brewery out of Steveston, BC – Britannia Brewing Company and got a walkin’. And walk they did!

A huge thank you goes out to Britannia Brewing Company for taking part in this round of the CraftCoHop. The Boardwalk Troispical Pale ale is a supremely deliciously refreshing and slightly tropical pale ale. I suggest you grab a pack immediately to take out on a walk of your own. While you’re at it, try the Watermelon Sour – you won’t regret it!

With three kinds of yeast, I wasn’t sure if I could trust this one to lead me on a walk in the park. Pretty sure that Sacc Trois was up to something.  Turns out you never know who you’re going to meet in the woods these days. Was I scared? Sure. But when we got back to the safety of the glass I made sure it was me that took those three yeasts for a walk over my taste buds.

When we were in Osoyoos, we discovered this area with bluffs in the background and vineyards on the side. We wanted to go for a walk and take our @britanniabrewingco Boardwalk Troispical with us. Little did I know they were waiting for me — a swarm of vicious, hungry mosquitoes. I didn’t see them coming. There was glaring from the sun. I was too focused on getting this shot for #CraftCoHop. My mind was somewhere else. I was eaten alive. Walking out of here I became a completely different person. Or something else.

“Brit was a good hiking partner, never questioned my trail choices, sketchy decisions, or packing 6 of her friends on my back for more photo opportunities. Too bad I can’t say the same about my other two partners…

It’s hot. I barely want to move let alone walk outside, so to keep this dadbod in check, I turn to the treadmill, and rehydration is key. Match speed to ABV and you’re set with a Boardwalk Troispical Pale Ale from Britannia Brewing

Forget nice, leisurely boardwalks, this salty sailor was gonna walk the plank!  Here I am, taking Britannia Brewing Co.’s Boardwalk Troispical Pale for a leisurely boat ride, when the damned can succumbs to the siren-song of the Sea!!!  After saving my canpanion from Davey Jones’ Locker, the reason for its treason was made clear.  Over the loud-speaker: “Thar be no alcohol aboard the BC Black Pearl, ye scurvy dogs, lest ye mean to meet yer maker and walk the plank!!!”

We’re so fortunate as British Columbians to live in such a beautiful province with amazing natural beauty and attraction sought out by people all over the world. I’m even more fortunate to have Sunset Beach, English Bay, Stanley Park and the Seawall in my own backyard. So, for this week’s Craft Co Hop theme of “Take a Walk”, that’s exactly what I did.

Boardwalk Troispical Pale Ale by @britanniabrewingco. Delicious and crisp, refreshing and totally crushable in the backyard, on the deck or chillin on the beach. Pineapple and tropical fruit with a smooth hoppy finish are what you’ll find, but don’t expect it to be too bitter. This pale ale closely reminds me of a mild IPA, and I love it!

There’s nothing like a long walk on the beach. Paired with a delicious tropical fruity pale ale, this little guy had to get to the beach. The best third wheel around.

“We like to shmooze our beer a little before we get into it. Nice long walks on the beach are a perfect for fit this Britannia Pale Ale”.
